Ep 2. Poveglia Island

Poveglia Island, located in the Venetian Lagoon, has a dark and disturbing history. Used as a quarantine station in the late 1700s, the island became a dumping ground for those with contagious diseases and mental disorders in the 20th century. It's rumored that over 160,000 people died on the island, and it's said to be one of the most haunted places on earth.

In this episode of Ghost Adventures, Zak Bagans and his team set out to investigate the paranormal activity on Poveglia Island. The team first takes a boat ride to the isolated island where they explore the abandoned hospital and other buildings. They learn about the island's history and the rampant plague outbreak that occurred there in the 1700s.

As the sun goes down, the team sets up their equipment in the abandoned hospital and begin their investigation. Zak, Aaron, and Nick explore the dark, eerie hallways and rooms, trying to make contact with any spirits that may be present. As they begin their lockdown, the team is immediately confronted with paranormal activity. Zak and Nick both experience physical manifestations on their bodies and hear disembodied voices throughout the church. Aaron captures unexplained sounds and the team's equipment detects strange energy fluctuations.

As the night wears on, the team becomes increasingly terrified as the paranormal activity intensifies. They eventually decide to cut their investigation short and head back to the mainland.
