In Ghost Hunters season 9 episode 16, titled "Hyde And Seek," the team of paranormal investigators continue their mission to uncover evidence of the supernatural. This time, they travel to Hyde Hall, a historic mansion located in Cooperstown, New York, with a reputation for being haunted.

The team is led by Jason Hawes, a veteran paranormal investigator who founded The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) in 1990. He is joined by Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango, and Amy Bruni, along with other members of the TAPS team.

Upon arriving at Hyde Hall, the team is immediately struck by the grandeur and historic significance of the mansion. Built in the early 19th century, the house has been well-preserved and is a popular tourist attraction in the area. However, there have been reports of strange occurrences in the house, including unexplained footsteps, disembodied voices, and shadow figures.

The team begins their investigation by first documenting the layout of the house and taking baseline readings of the electromagnetic field (EMF) levels. They also set up static cameras and infrared cameras throughout the house to capture any activity that may occur.

As they explore the mansion, the team encounters several anomalies that pique their interest. They hear strange noises and unexplained whispers, and they capture a few EVPs (Electronic Voice Phenomena) that suggest the presence of spirits.

One of the more intriguing findings occurs in the basement of the mansion, where the team discovers what appears to be a hidden room. The room is filled with antique furniture and old paintings, and the team wonders why such a room would be hidden away from the rest of the house.

As the investigation continues, the team begins to focus their attention on certain areas of the mansion that seem to be especially active. One of these areas is the kitchen, where they capture several EVPs and hear unexplained knocking sounds.

In another part of the house, the team sets up a trigger object experiment, where they leave a doll in a room with the hopes that any spirit activity will move or interact with the doll. While they do not capture any movement of the doll, they do capture EVPs that suggest the presence of something that may have interacted with it.

Throughout the investigation, the team remains objective and skeptical, always looking for rational explanations for any anomalies they encounter. They consult with historians and other experts to learn more about the history of the mansion and the people who once lived there, hoping to gain insight into the potential hauntings.

Ultimately, the team presents their findings to the owners of the mansion, who are grateful for their investigation and the insights they have gained. While some of the activity remains unexplained, the team has gathered enough evidence to suggest that there may indeed be paranormal activity occurring at Hyde Hall.
