But when Miley has a change of heart but still accidentally destroys Jackson's ball in a freak accident, it's going to cost her more than she thought to get it signed by the stubborn Joey Vitolo. When a hot new phone comes out and Robbie won't give her the money to buy it, Miley tries to get Lilly to help her find a way to get the money on their own. Together they come up with a plan to take an embarassing Hannah photo and sell it to the tabloids, but when the photo threatens to give away Miley's secret, they have to think of a new plan. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson just so happens to be in town at the same time, so they decide to sneak into his hotel and take the embarassing picture of him instead. Lilly records a song as a gift to her mom but, unfortunately, she doesn't have the best voice, so Miley steps in to sweeten the sound with the help of the equipment in the recording studio. But when Lilly challenges Amber in a karaoke match before finding out that she actually can't sing, Miley hatches a scheme to hopefully help Lilly save face.

Lilly and Oliver compete for Miley's attention when Miley is offered only one guest ticket for a celebrity tennis tournament. But when Rico gives Miley his ticket to the tournament so that both Oliver and Lilly are able to go, when they get there, they both end up causing Miley to mess up the tennis match because of their constant arguing. Meanwhile, Jackson's scheme to make Rico nicer by hiring a fortune teller to put a curse on him until he acts nicer to people and then making it appear like the curse is real blows up in his face when he has to start doing the nice things for Rico.

While appearing on a talk show, Miley (dressed as Hannah) comes to discover that fellow pop star Mikayla isn't the sugar and spice that she had imagined her to be, and she can't wait to get to the benefit concert in Florida that they are both scheduled to perform at to prove to Mikayla once and for all that Hannah Montana is here to stay. But when Robbie injures his back on Jackson's weight machine, he makes Miley cancel Hannah's performance since he can't go with her on the trip anymore. Miley tries to talk him into letting her go with Roxy, but he won't change his mind. Determined to put Mikayla in her place though, Miley tricks Roxy into taking her and disobeys her dad's orders. Miley begins to sleepwalk and blurts out the truth to anyone in her way, which lands her in trouble when she crosses paths with her least favorite teacher at school.

In the conclusion of this two part episode, Jake takes it relatively well after Miley reveals to him that she is Hannah Montana. He tells her that this won't change anything even though he was surprised by it. But as they continue to date, Miley begins to have a hard time because she can't just be a normal girl anymore now that Miley is famous as well as Hannah. To hope to make her feel better, Jake dresses up in a disguise to go out to meet Miley, Lilly and Oliver for lunch so that he won't be recognized as a celebrity. Jake is too used to getting the celebrity treatment though and can't take not being able to skip in line, or having to get his own water, or just not having people do everything for him. Miley starts to get annoyed by Jake because of his attitude and wants to break up with him, but if she does he might tell her secret to the world. Now Miley has to try to find a way to get Jake to break up with her before she breaks up with him. Meanwhile, Jackson and Oliver's business picks up now that they have the Cheeze Jerky, but when it comes time to pay back Oliver's mom, they are only left with a dollar.

In part one of this special two part episode, Jake Ryan returns from filming his movie, but when he tries to win Miley back he discovers that she is still mad at him for kissing her and then running off to film the movie. He tries everything to get her to take him back, including dressing up in armor and sending her many fruit baskets, but Miley's still not giving in. But when Miley hears him say on national television that he loves her, she decides to give him another chance and so they start dating again. Things have never seemed better for Miley and Jake and while out on a picnic, Jake tells Miley his secret. His secret that he's been keeping from the world is that his real name is Leslie and when he tells her, he also says that he is glad that they don't have to keep secrets from each other and can be completely honest. This puts Miley in the bad position of having to lie to Jake while wanting to be honest, so she decides it's time to tell him the truth about her double life as Hannah Montana. Meanwhile, Jackson gets fired from Rico's and opens his own shop right next door. Business is horrible and Jackson can't figure out why, but he soon realizes that he needs a product that Rico's doesn't have, which might just happen to be Cheeze Jerky.

While out on a date with Roxy, Miley finally has more than she can handle and ends up firing Roxy because she has become too overprotective. Roxy goes to take a job as one of the president's bodyguards, but Miley soon begins to realize that there can never be another bodyguard as good as Roxy and has to go through a lot of trouble (including eating dog food) to try to convince Roxy to come back. Meanwhile, Jackson only proves Robbie's point that boys will lie to impress girls when he tries to convince a girl that he is a motocross racer. Miley catches Lilly's new boyfriend Lucas with another girl but when she tells her best friend the news, Lilly accuses Miley of being jealous. So, in order to prove to Lilly that she's telling the truth, Miley tries to trick Lucas into flirting with her, but she then realizes that Lucas wouldn't be so stupid as to flirt with Lilly's best friend. Now, Miley has to try to come up with some way to show Lilly that she's not lying, and that just might be getting Lucas to flirt with Hannah Montana. Meanwhile, after a pair of sunglasses is stolen from Rico's, Rico installs a ridiculous security system to keep it from happening again.

Having finally gotten tired of hearing Miley and Jackson argue over riding with each other to get where they want to go, Robbie cancels both of their weekend plans. Both determined to go anyway, they decide to borrow Thor's car and sneak out of the house. But when Thor's car gets stuck halfway off a cliff, Miley and Jackson have to resolve their differences if they want to get out of it alive.

When Miley loses her voice after a Hannah concert with six encores, she learns that she will have to have throat surgery if she ever wants to sing again. Miley is extremely nervous the night before the operation and she has a dream that her mom comes to visit her to tell her that she shouldn't be worried and that everything will turn out fine. Miley is forced to turn to Rico to help her pick up her grade in biology after Robbie tells her that he will cancel Hannah's European tour unless her failing grade is brought up. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to get rid of Thor's annoying pet parrot named Snowball after he starts to cause Jackson to get into lots of trouble.

Miley persuades Lilly to get a complete makeover if she wants to get a date for the upcoming dance, but Lilly's not so sure. Later, Lilly eventually decides to get the makeover and she does land a date for the dance, but when her date doesn't show up, Miley convinces Lilly to take him to "court". Meanwhile, Jackson has to pick who he wants to take to a Laker's game after he wins two tickets and both Thor and Robbie want to go.

Miley gets upset with Lilly when she fails to pick her to be on her flag-football team at school. In order to stop them from fighting, Oliver handcuffs them together. But when he loses the key only hours before Miley is scheduled to appear as Hannah at an awards show, Miley and Lilly will have to learn to work together even though they're upset with each other to pull off the show while chained to each other. Meanwhile, Robbie gets tired of Jackson not listening to what he tells him to do so he decides to stop talking to him. But soon the silence is too much for Jackson to take and he tries to find a way to make Robbie talk again.

Miley attends her first day of high school, but her excitement soon disappears when she learns from a text message that Rico knows her "secret" and that he may reveal it to the entire school at lunch. But when Miley goes to Rico to try to keep him from telling the school her secret, Rico agrees to keep quiet on the condition that Miley will pretend to be his girlfriend. Will the act work or will Rico end up double-crossing Miley and reveal her secret anyway? Meanwhile, when a new kid named Thor arrives at school he suddenly believes that he is best buds with Jackson, but Jackson isn't feeling the same way.

After Jackson gets tired of having to drive Miley around and take her places, he gets her stuck babysitting the bratty neice of Mr. Dontzig for a day and bets her that she will not be able to keep the little girl for an entire day without complaining. Meanwhile, Robby gets over a cold with help from Roxy and her rather odd home remedies.

A Hannah Montana-endorsed fragrance does not turn out to smell as good as Miley would have hoped.

Hannah Montana is scheduled to appear on the popular reality show, Singing With the Stars, where three ordinary kids are selected to sing with different celebrities with the best one, also the winner, winning a recording contract at the end of the show. Hannah is extremely excited about being on the show as it is very good publicity, but her happiness is short-lived when she soon discovers that one of the contestants that she will have to sing with on the show is none other than Amber. Miley and Lilly decide that they have to find some way to use this to humiliate Amber after they wind up on the very bottom of her "cool list" right behind Dandruff Danny. This will not be as easy as they might have assumed though when they find out that Amber is an excellent singer and she's a shoe-in to win. In the end, Lilly rigs up a trap to embarrass Amber, but will Miley be able to go through with it and humiliate Amber on national television? Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson rattle their brains to try and come up with a way to get Mr. Dontzig's dog to stop barking.

Hannah Montana's security guard Roxy tricks Miley and Lilly into telling on a school bully called "The Cracker" who has been giving Miley problems. Meanwhile, Jackson and Robbie are snowed in on a fishing trip.

After Miley accidentally gets Jackson fired from his job at Rico's, she begins to feel guilty and hires him as Hannah Montana's personal assistant. But will Jackson's tendancy to mess things up start to grate on Miley's nerves?

Paparazzi follow Hannah home after a concert and come to believe that Jackson is her boyfriend. After begging from Jackson, Miley finally agrees to go along for a little while so that Jackson can have a little fun, but when Jackson starts to take advantage of the cool perks that come with being a celebrity's boyfriend, Miley has to break off the "relationship" on national television. Meanwhile, Oliver teams with Sarah on a class project.

After Miley goes on a spending spree with a credit card that her father gave her for emergency use only, she has to consult Jackson to find a way to pay it off before Robbie finds out and he only scheme Jackson can think of involves selling off Hannah Montana clothes and merchandise. But when Jackson and Miley accidentally sell a priceless pair of rented earrings, they have to come up with an even bigger scheme to get them back.

Miley uses her secret alter ego, Hannah Montana, to her full advantage as she competes in a fund-raising event against Amber and Ashley. Meanwhile, Jackson and Robbie compete in ping pong to determine who is the best.

After mistakenly believing that Jake is going out with a girl named Holly, Miley tries the old trick of attempting to make him jealous to win him by pretending to go out with another guy. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to butter up his teacher who is about to fail him by getting her to go out on a date with Robbie.

Miley is upset when she learns from Robbie that her cousin Luanne from Tennessee is coming to visit. She tries to tell him that Luanne is really evil, but Robbie tells Miley that she should just give her another chance now that they are both older. At first after Luanne arrives, it seems like Robbie may have been right after all, but when Luanne ties Miley up in her closet and then goes to a Halloween party dressed as Hannah Montana planning to reveal Miley's secret, it's up to Lilly, Oliver, and a now untied Miley dressed as Hannah to stop her before it's too late. Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson compete with Mr. Dontzig to see who can have the scariest Halloween display. (This episode features Miley in dual role as Luanne.)

When Jake accidentally gets hold of a videotape of Miley confessing her true feelings for him, Miley will try anything to get it back before Jake watches it and she makes a total fool of herself. Thankfully though, Miley's Aunt Dolly is in town visiting and agrees to make it her mission to retrieve the tape. Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson have a tough go of things when Aunt Dolly adds her feminine touch to everything in the house.

When Miley gets a guest starring role on Jake's show as Hannah Montana, she is extremely excited. But a damper is soon put on all of her excitement when she learns that she will have to kiss jake on the show and she tries everything to make sure that it won't happen. At the sime time, the school dance is coming up and when Jake asks Miley to go with him, she turns him down but soon regrets this decision when Jake ends up going with Lilly. Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson pull pranks on each other to see who is the better prankster.

When a new kid transfers to Seaview Middle School who happens to be the famous TV star Jake Ryan, everyone can't help but be ecstatic; that is everyone except Miley. Miley thinks that Jake's just a self-centered stuck-up jerk who loves getting attention from anyone and everyone, and she's partly right, but she still can't help but be a little attracted to him. Feelings aside though, Jake is virtually ruining Miley's life. In the end it pushes Miley so close to the edge that she breaks down and tells a reporter that she's really Hannah Montana. Later realizing her mistake though, Miley looks to Robbie and Jackson to help her pick back up the pieces and get everything back to normal. Meanwhile, Robbie lets Jackson borrow his car to go out on a date while Jackson's car is broken with Robbie agreeing to go get Jackson's car fixed while he's out, but not everything goes according to plan on Robbie's end of the deal.

Miley tries, with difficulty, not to be bothered over a billboard for a new zit-zapping cream that features a picture of Hannah Montana with a huge zit on her face to try to help Lilly feel better about having to wear glasses while her contacts are broken. Meanwhile, Jackson is forced to be Rico's new magic assistant, Tina, in order to get a good word in with his boss when he asks for a raise.

Miley learns from candy counter girl Maddie Fitzpatrick (Ashley Tisdale) while checking out of the Tipton Hotel in Boston that her dad used to be a famous singer called Robbie Ray but gave it all up to look after her and Jackson after they were born. Back at home, Miley starts to feel guilty for ruining her dad's career so she calls Robbie's old manager and stages a chance for Robbie to make a comeback. This means that Miley and Jackson will have to be left in the care of overprotective Roxy while he is away though, and soon it becomes too much for them to take. Will Miley be able to find a way to make her dad happy by letting him live his dream, or will he decide to leave his career as a musician behind to do what he does best, being their dad?

Miley and Lilly are checking Hannah Montana's email when they come across one from Becca in Malibu that asks for Hannah's advice about a cute boy at school that she likes and if she should ask him out. Miley and Lilly quickly figure out that the email is from Becca Weller in homeroom and that the boy she likes is actually Oliver. They decide to tell Oliver about Becca's email so that he will ask her out, but when Miley and Lilly see Becca with another boy, they get the wrong idea and jeopardize Oliver and Becca's relationship. Now Miley and Lilly have to try to set things straight before the whole thing is ruined because of their meddling.

While complaining to her dad about having to work with Oliver on a drama class project because of his severe case of stage fright, Miley doesn't realize that Oliver is listening. She tries to apologize, but to no avail. Later though, Miley as Hannah gets a glimpse at how Oliver feels when she forgets the words to the National Anthem on live television. Meanwhile, Jackson accidentally gets himself addicted to chocolate and sweets while trying to break Rico of his bad diet choices.

Miley, Lilly, and Oliver have to go camping for a class field trip. It's worse news for Miley and Lilly though because Amber and Ashley will also be there. Miley and Lilly try to make the best of it, but it eventually becomes too much for them to handle and they decide to take things into their own hands. Their actions have results though that they would have never imagined. Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson try to track down and kill a mouse that is in their house, but they soon change their tune when they discover that the little rodent has a nack for playing the piano.

Miley and Lilly start to feel like they're not spending enough time together, so they decide to try out for cheerleading to fix their problem. Miley discovers that Lilly doesn't know a thing about cheerleading, so she teaches her what she knows. But when Lilly ends up making the squad using her skateboard moves, and Miley only gets to be team mascot, their friendship is only put under extra strain. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to fix the kitchen sink, and thinks that he's broken it, until a plumber comes and tells Robbie that Jackson's plumbing is actually what saved their house.

Miley is signing autographs as Hannah Montana to mark the opening of her new fashion line when she notices her dad looking for a birthday present to get her. She's worried that he'll get her another lame gift like he usually does, so she decides to take Lilly with her to the mall, and while she hides, she can tell Lilly yes or no about the outfit, and Lilly can tell her dad. But when Miley gets kicked out of the store, she decides to dress up as the Hannah Montana mannequin to pick the perfect present through Lilly. Lilly manages to convince Robbie to buy the outfit that Miley wants, but when Miley opens her present on her birthday, it's something completely different - a pink cat sweater that meows. Miley comes up with a scheme to ruin it, but before she gets the chance she has to go out in public wearing the sweater when Robbie throws her a surprise party at the beach. Meanwhile, Jackson has a difficult time getting Miley's birthday cake.

Miley as Hannah Montana is in rehearsal for her command performance for the queen's granddaughter when her grandmother calls and tells them that she is on her way to their house for a surprise visit. When she gets there though, she seems to ignore Miley and only pay attention to Jackson. Miley tries to figure out a way to get her grandmother to notice her, but nothing seems to work. Even while Miley is waiting to meet the queen, her grandmother is only paying attention to Jackson, who is going to be late for one of the biggest volleyball tournaments because the queen has been delayed. Jackson decides to leave because if he waits any longer he'll miss the tournament, and while he is gone, Miley confronts her grandmother and learns that the only reason she pays so much attention to Jackson is so that he won't feel ignored because everyone is always fussing over Hannah Montana. Eventually, Miley agrees with her grandmother and decides to cut her performance for the queen short so that she can be at Jackson's game to support him.

Lilly doesn't hit things off too well with some of Hannah's friends backstage before a Hannah Montana concert. Later, when Miley finds out about a party for a famous celebrity, but Lilly desperately wants to go, Miley decides to lie and tell Lilly that the party was canceled to save herself some public embarrassment. But even with all of Miley's attempts to keep Lilly from discovering, Lilly eventually finds out that Miley did go to the party and Miley has to tell Lilly the real reason why she lied to her. Meanwhile, Rico plays a trick on Jackson by paying a girl to pretend that she is in beauty school, and that she likes Jackson, with the end result being that she shaves off all of Jackson's hair saying that she's practicing. But when the girl discovers how nice Jackson really is, they both plot to get back at Rico.

Miley likes this really cute boy, Josh, that goes to her school. She just can't find the nerve to ask him out though, and she is thrilled when Josh asks her out on a date. At first, Robbie isn't happy because Josh is in ninth grade and Miley is only in eighth, but he eventually agrees to let Miley go. But when Miley discovers that Josh hates Hannah Montana, she has to figure out a way to convince him to like Hannah Montana. While talking to Lilly and Oliver on a way to get him to like Hannah, Josh comes up and says that he's going to give Hannah Montana a chance and he got tickets for a concert. How will Miley be able to go on the date with Josh while also performing on stage? Meanwhile, Jackson has a problem with Cooper's not so innocent little sister that has just returned from boarding school and is looking for a little fun.

After Robbie tells her that she can't go to the premiere of Ashton Kutcher's new movie because she has to stay home and study, Miley is convinced to sneak out of the house and go to the premiere by Lilly and Oliver. Little does she know though that Jackson has the exact same idea except he's going to meet girls. Once they get there, both Miley and Jackson are surprised to see their dad there, and get an even bigger surprise when they realize that he's on a date with a real estate agent named Margo Diamond. Miley is extremely upset that Robbie would even try to replace her mother that died three years ago, so she decides to go down to the real estate agent's office dressed as Hannah Montana to try to find out a little bit about this lady their dad is dating.

Miley attempts to put a stop to Oliver's crush on Hannah Montana by revealing her double life to him. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to get the person he bought his new car from to take it back because everyone feels that it is too girlie.

Miley's secret identity is revealed when her best friend, Lilly, sneaks into Hannah Montana's dressing room after a concert. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to get Robbie to loan him money.
