Anthony is the focus of this heart-wrenching episode of Intervention season 3. It starts with his family members recounting what a sweet and caring child he was, but all that changed when he started using drugs. Anthony's addiction began with marijuana when he was just 13 years old, and quickly progressed to harder substances like heroin, cocaine, and meth.

We see Anthony in his current state, living in a motel room and shooting up every day. He's a pale shadow of the promising young man he used to be. His mother describes how he's stolen from the family, including pawning items from his dead grandmother's house. She feels like she's lost her son, and that he's lost himself to addiction.

Anthony's sister is particularly affected by his addiction, as she is also a recovering addict. She notes how it's devastating to watch Anthony go down the same path she did, and that it's difficult to be around him when he's high. She and Anthony's mother plan an intervention, and we see them working with a trained interventionist to prepare.

The scene is tense as they approach Anthony's motel room. They're met with resistance, as Anthony doesn't believe he has a problem and refuses to acknowledge the impact his addiction has had on his family. But after some tough love and a lot of tears, Anthony agrees to go to treatment. His family members hug him and tell him how much they love him, but it's clear that there's a lot of healing to do.

Anthony enters the treatment program, and we see him in individual and group counseling sessions. He has an emotional breakthrough when he realizes that he's been using drugs to cope with his father's suicide when he was younger. He's able to open up about his feelings and experiences, and it's clear that he's starting to make progress.

However, things take a turn for the worse when Anthony's girlfriend shows up at the treatment center. She's also using drugs and tries to get him to leave with her. Anthony is torn between his love for her and his desire to stay clean, and it's clear that this is a critical moment in his recovery.

We see Anthony struggle with his addiction over the course of the episode, but ultimately he decides to leave treatment and stay with his girlfriend. It's a heartbreak for his family, who had hoped that he would get better and come back to them. But they're also left with the sense that they did everything they could to help him, and that ultimately it's up to Anthony to decide if he wants to turn his life around.

Intervention season 3 episode 4 is a powerful portrait of addiction and the toll it takes on families. It's a reminder that addiction doesn't discriminate, and that anyone can be affected by it. But it's also a story of hope, as Anthony's family rallies around him and shows him that they love him no matter what. The episode leaves viewers with the sense that recovery is possible, but it's a long and difficult journey that requires dedication and perseverance.
