Jessica and Hubert is the sixth episode of the third season of the American documentary television series, Intervention. It follows the story of Jessica and Hubert, who are both struggling with addiction.

Jessica is a 23-year-old heroin addict from Sacramento, California. She has been using heroin for four years and has lost everything because of it. She is estranged from her family and has been in and out of jail multiple times. Her boyfriend, who is also a heroin addict, is the only person who she is close to. However, her addiction has caused him to relapse several times, and he has been to rehab twice.

Hubert, on the other hand, is a 26-year-old crack addict from Queens, New York. He started using crack when he was 13 years old and has been addicted ever since. He is now homeless and spends most of his days panhandling for money. He has been arrested multiple times for drug-related offenses and has been to rehab several times. However, he has always relapsed shortly after leaving rehab.

The episode begins with Jessica's boyfriend attempting to get her to stop using heroin. He confronts her about her drug use and tells her that he can't keep watching her destroy herself. Jessica brushes him off, telling him that she doesn't have a problem and that she can stop using whenever she wants. However, as the episode progresses, it becomes clear that this is not the case.

Hubert is shown walking the streets of New York, asking people for money to buy crack. He talks about how he can't imagine his life without drugs and how he has lost everything because of his addiction. He admits that he doesn't even know what he would do if he were to get clean.

Throughout the episode, Jessica and Hubert's families are shown expressing their concern for their loved ones. Jessica's mother talks about how she has lost touch with her daughter and how she believes that her addiction is going to kill her. Hubert's sister talks about how she has tried everything to get him to stop using, but nothing has worked.

The climax of the episode is when the families stage an intervention for each of their loved ones. They both agree to go to rehab, but their journeys are not easy. Jessica struggles with her sobriety and has a difficult time admitting that she has a problem. She eventually realizes that she needs to make a change in order to turn her life around.

Hubert also has a difficult time in rehab. He is shown going through withdrawal and struggling with the idea of living a life without drugs. However, he eventually starts to open up to the counselors and realizes that he needs to make changes in his life if he wants to stay sober.

Overall, Jessica and Hubert's story is a powerful depiction of addiction and the effects it can have on individuals and their families. The episode shows that addiction is a disease and that it takes a lot of hard work and support to overcome it. It is a must-watch for anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of addiction and the recovery process.
