Ep 2. Laws of Attraction

Ryan Buell and the Paranormal Research Society investigate a private home in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, that has been plagued by paranormal activity for years. The homeowners, a couple named Steve and Beth, report hearing strange noises, seeing apparitions, and feeling a sense of dread in certain areas of the house. The team sets up their equipment and begins their investigation, but they quickly realize that the entity in the house is more powerful than they anticipated.

As they delve deeper into the history of the property, they discover that it was once used as a stop on the Underground Railroad during the Civil War. Ryan believes that the spirits of escaped slaves might be lingering on the property, and that they have become attached to Steve and Beth because of their own deep connection to the Civil War.

The team decides to conduct a séance to try and communicate with the spirit in the house. During the séance, they make contact with a spirit who identifies herself as Emily, a former slave who passed away on the property during her escape. Emily reveals that she is scared and doesn't understand why she is still stuck in the mortal world. The team decides to perform a ritual to help Emily cross over into the afterlife.

Things take a turn for the worse when the team realizes that they have inadvertently attracted negative energy to the house. Beth starts behaving erratically and becomes possessed by a malevolent entity. The team rushes to perform an emergency exorcism, but they struggle to rid the home of the malicious spirit.

Ryan realizes that the laws of attraction are at play in the house, and that he and the team have unintentionally brought negative energy into the home with their investigation. They regroup and decide to shift their focus towards positive energy and healing. They perform a blessing on the house and hold a memorial service for Emily on the property, inviting members of the local community to pay their respects.

The episode ends with Steve and Beth reporting that the house feels much lighter and more peaceful after the team's intervention. They express their gratitude to the Paranormal Research Society for helping them to understand the paranormal activity in their home and for bringing them closer to the community around them.
