Ep 16. Declaration Of Dopeness

In Pawn Stars season 14 episode 16, entitled "Declaration Of Dopeness," the guys at the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop are back at it again with a host of unique items being brought in for evaluation, purchase, and sale.

First up is a rare guitar pedal from the late '60s, the first of its kind to utilize a wah-wah effect. Known as the Colorsound Wah-Wah, this sought-after piece of music equipment was used by numerous legendary rock musicians of the era, including Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton.

Next, a turn-of-the-century Winchester rifle is brought in, along with a matching saddle. The rifle is a classic example of the early lever-action design that made Winchester famous, and has been well-preserved over the years. The saddle, too, is in remarkable condition, and looks to have been crafted by skilled artisans of the era.

Another item catches the eye of the pawn shop crew - a beautifully illustrated manuscript from the 18th century. The book appears to be an incredibly rare copy of the Declaration of Independence, adorned with intricate engravings and fine calligraphy. The seller claims that it was passed down through generations of their family, and is seeking a hefty sum for the priceless artifact.

Later in the episode, a seller brings in an antique barber's chair from the early 20th century. The chair is a fine example of the era's craftsmanship, complete with a hydraulic lift and intricate detailing. While the chair is an impressive piece, its true value lies in the bizarre history surrounding it - it was once owned by a notorious gangster from the prohibition era.

The final item to be evaluated is a true oddity - a life-sized Spider-Man statue, complete with web-slinging action. While the statue is clearly a novelty item, it is also a limited-edition collectible, created by a well-known artist in collaboration with Marvel. The seller hopes that the rarity of the piece will be enough to motivate a sale.
