Ep 8. The Battle of the Badge

Ash, Misty, and Brock are on their way to Fuchsia City to challenge the Gym Leader Koga. On the way, they come across a sign that warns them about the dangerous Fuchsia City Gym, which has a reputation for being one of the toughest Gyms in the region. Undaunted by the warning, Ash decides to challenge Koga and add another badge to his collection.

As they enter the Gym, they notice that the inside is full of traps and invisible walls. But they are greeted by Koga's daughter, who tells them that Koga is not there at the moment. Instead, she challenges Ash to a battle. But before they can start, Team Rocket appears and tries to steal all of the Pokemons. Ash and his friends manage to fight them off, but not before Koga's daughter's prized Pokemon is taken.

In an effort to get the Pokemon back, Ash and his friends team up with Koga's daughter and sneak into Team Rocket's hideout. They manage to retrieve the stolen Pokemons and escape, but not before Team Rocket sets off a self-destruct mechanism. With only a few seconds to spare, they make a daring escape.

The next day, Ash is finally able to challenge Koga. He uses his trusty Pikachu to battle Koga's Pokemon, but he soon realizes that Koga is not an ordinary Gym Leader. Koga's Pokemon are extremely strong and know how to use poison to their advantage.

Despite the odds, Ash manages to take down all of Koga's Pokemon, winning him the Soul Badge. But before he can celebrate, he is approached by a mysterious figure who challenges him to a battle. The figure turns out to be none other than Gary, Ash's rival.

The episode ends with Ash and Gary facing off against each other in what promises to be an epic showdown between two of the best trainers in the region.
