After being accused of murdering the brother of the president of the United States, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) is imprisoned at Fox River State Penitentiary and is sentenced to death. Convinced of his innocence, Lincoln's brother, Michael Schofield (Wentworth Miller) devises a plan to free him. Complications in the plan arise as the two brothers delve deeper into the criminal conspiracy that resulted in Lincoln's unjust incarceration.

Prison break aired for four seasons on the Fox Broadcasting Company from 2005 until 2009. In 2006 the series was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for the composing work of Ramin Djawadi. The series was well received by audiences and critics and was also nominated in 2005 for a Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series Drama.

The show features an ensemble cast of recurring characters, many of whom are inmates in the Fox River State Penitentiary. Characters include the cunning and deceptive Theodore T-Bag Bagwell (Robert Knepper) and the well-connected mafioso John Abruzzi (Peter Stormare). Ten actors received star billing in the first season and as the story progressed and characters were removed and introduced the series continued to maintain a large central cast.

Through a compelling cast of characters and a never-ending stream of plot twists and surprises, Prison Break captivated audiences nationwide. As the brilliant Michael Schofield attempts to free his brother, he encounters assassinations, shadowy organizations, and corrupt government officials. It becomes abundantly clear as the story unravels that Lincoln Burrows is trapped in Fox River by far more than simple walls.

Meanwhile, Mahone waits at a Panama City cantina for an appointment, while a roadblock is setup on the way out of the country which stops McGrady and his father. Back at Sona, Sucre pays for attempting an escape, while T-Bag aids Lechero as he takes a look at the new landscape beyond the walls.

  • Lechero, Whistler, Mahone, Bellick and T-Bag all decide to follow Michael when he begins again to tunnel out of Sona, but working as a team may be a problem. Linc and Sucre assist when the weather causes some last minute changes in their plans. Back in Panama City, Sucre is threatened by Susan B. with the worst thing imaginable. She also longs to see Sofia again.

  • The battle for control of Sona comes to a boil between Lechero and Sammy as T-Bag enlists Bellick once again to display his fighting skills. Meanwhile, Michael returns to shore up the escape tunnel, and in Panama City, a search is performed by Linc on "Gary Miller," while Sucre and Susan B. have a pair of meetings.

  • Michael hopes to talk his way out of solitary confinement, while Bellick gets himself into trouble after refusing to mop up a mess. Meanwhile, Lincoln searches for a missing Sara and receives troubling news about LJ.
