Ep 1. Ranma Gains Yet Another Suitor

As Ranma 1/2 enters its third season, the martial arts mayhem continues to ramp up as the eccentric cast of characters find themselves in increasingly bizarre and hilarious situations. The season opener, titled "Ranma Gains Yet Another Suitor," follows the titular character as he's challenged to yet another duel for his hand in marriage.

Meanwhile, Ranma is torn between his admiration for Tsubasa's martial arts prowess and his annoyance at her constant advances.

The situation is further complicated by the arrival of Tsubasa's father, a strict and imposing martial artist who is less than pleased with his daughter's infatuation with Ranma. He challenges Ranma to a duel to prove that Tsubasa is not worthy of his attention – but as is often the case in the world of Ranma 1/2, things don't go quite as planned.

Throughout the episode, we are treated to the usual blend of slapstick humor, witty one-liners, and over-the-top fight scenes that have come to define the series. But there's also a surprising amount of heart and romance as we see Ranma struggling to navigate his complicated love life and Tsubasa learning to let her guard down and show her true feelings.
