The L.A. Complex is a Canadian drama series. It premiered on CTV Television Network and Much Music in January 2012. Later, due to wide appeal and a growing fan base, it began airing in the United Sates in April of 2012 on The CW. It is executive produced by Stephen Stohn and Linda Schuyler of Epitome Pictures and Martin Gero.

The show centers on a group of young, aspiring performers living in the same apartment complex, all of them aiming for fame in Los Angeles. The actors in this show are anything but aspiring. This show is full of a rock star cast: Jonathan Patrick Moore from "Neighbours" is Connor, Jewel Staite from "Firefly" is Raquel, Joe Dinicol from "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" is Nick, Cassie Steele from "Degrassi: The Next Generation" is Alicia, Chelan Simmons from "Smallville" is Abby, Andra Fuller from "Entourage" is Kaldrick, and Benjamin Charles Watson from "Todd and The Book of Pure Evil" is Tariq.

Connor is your typical gorgeous leading-role actor, however, he has a dark past. Raquel had one big series, and now may be falling in to the trap of a one-hit-wonder. Nick is a struggling comedian who is always in the friend-zone. Abby is a naïve actress. She is determined though, she gave up her boyfriend back home until she gets her big break, unaware of how long that could really be. Alicia is an aspiring dancer. She will do anything make ends meet. Kaldrick is a Hip-Hop dancer from Oakland, California. Tariq is an aspiring Hip-Hop artist with a secret of his own.

Though all the neighbors come from very different backgrounds with different personalities and many secrets, they have one thing in common: dreams. They all dream to be famous, and Los Angeles is their genie.

This show is built upon the gilded dream that is The City of Dreams. All of the persons living The L.A. Complex came to Los Angeles expecting fame, fortune, and their dreams to materialize before their eyes. As they, along with millions of other waitress and street musician hopefuls, realize that isn't the case, it becomes the eternal battle over dreams and reality. They face challenges and opportunities so often faced, yet so dear to everyone. They try to succeed as dancers, producers, comedians, and actors. Relationships are off and on, and all characters will see if they have what it takes.
