The show tells the story of four childhood friends who reunite after many years for a hiking trip in the mountains of Hong Kong. The friends, all adults now, have grown apart over the years due to their different lifestyles and conflicting personalities. The hiking trip starts off as a fun adventure, but things quickly turn dark when the group discovers a girl who has been brutally murdered.

As the investigation into the girl's murder unfolds, the four friends are forced to confront their past and deal with the secrets and betrayals they have been hiding from each other. Each character has their own demons to face, and their personal struggles are explored throughout the show.

Bowie Lam plays the role of Vincent, a successful businessman and the leader of the group. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Elaine, but their marriage is falling apart due to his infidelity. Vincent must also confront his guilt over an incident in their past that still haunts him.

Another member of the group is Tim, played by Moses Chan. Tim is a struggling musician who has yet to find success in his career. He is in love with his childhood friend, Janet, but she is already in a committed relationship with someone else. Tim is also dealing with the aftermath of a traumatic event that happened to him years ago.

Janet, played by Charmaine Sheh, is a successful lawyer who is engaged to a wealthy businessman. She is forced to confront the truth about her relationship with her fiancé and the feelings she still has for Tim.

The final member of the group is Jamie, played by Maggie Cheung Ho-yee. Jamie is a single mother who works as a nurse. She is still dealing with the trauma of being raped as a teenager and must confront her attacker when he resurfaces in her life.
