Watch In the Electric Mist

In the Electric Mist centers around a murder mystery in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. Sheriff's Detective Dave Robicheaux is investigating a young woman's murder when he encounters two well-known actors on location in the area to film a Civil War drama. When the Sheriff arrests the male Hollywood star for drunk driving, he confides that he and his girlfriend recently discovered decaying human remains in a nearby swamp. After Robicheaux finds the corpse, he is able to tie the death to several other unsolved murders, ultimately leading him to suspect Mafia chieftan Baby Feet Balboni of being involved. After the Sheriff is aided by the arrival of an FBI agent to continue the investigation, the action takes a tragic turn when he is accompanied on a Bayou Boat ride by the two Hollywood actors, who have taken to becoming regular visitors at the Sheriff's home. His life begins a downward spiral when his daughter is also kidnapped and his best friend commits suicide.
