A Home for the Holidays Full Episode Guide

  • Currently, there are more than 400,000 children in foster care in the U.S. who are hoping for a "forever home." Foster children lead a difficult life. Only half graduate from high school, three percent graduate college and 25 percent end up homeless. As this special illustrates, given a home and a chance, these children can thrive and go on to lead exemplary, even extraordinary, lives.

  • Tony Award winner Idina Menzel performs songs from her new album, Christmas: A Season of Love, and introduces uplifting stories about adoption from foster care. Award-winning artists Adam Lambert, NE-YO and Kelly Rowland also perform.

  • Host LL COOL J will introduce inspirational stories about children adopted from foster care, and Gwen Stefani, Train and Lukas Graham will each perform. Highlights from the Grove's annual tree-lighting ceremony, including a performance by Andy Grammer, will be featured during the special.

  • A Home For The Holidays features uplifting stories of adoption from foster care and raises awareness of this important social issue. The inspirational stories of these American families are enhanced with performances by some of today's most popular artists, including headliner Josh Groban, plus Kelly Clarkson, Kacey Musgraves, and Kane Brown. During the special, you'll hear personal stories from the Dennis Family from Norfolk, Virginia, the Fisher Family from Salt Lake City, Utah, the Thompson Family from Poteau, Oklahoma, and the Black Family from Rochester, New York.

  • Miranda Lambert hosts this year's "A Home for the Holidays"

  • A Home for the Holidays 2015 features special performances by Katharine McPhee; Jennifer Hudson; Train; Earth, Wind & Fire; Rixton; Ashley Monroe; Dan & Shay; and Jillian Michaels.

  • Celine Dion hosts the 16th annual "A Home for the Holidays."

  • Celine Dion hosts the 15th annual "A Home for the Holidays."

  • Martina McBride hosts the 13th annual "A Home for the Holidays" to raise awareness of adoption. Special performances by McBride, Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Gavin DeGraw, OneRepublic and Christina Perri. And appearances by Katherine Heigl and Denise Richards.

  • The 12th Annual A Home for the Holidays will begin with a special performance by Katy Perry. Melissa Etheridge, Maroon 5, Ricky Martin, and Nelly will also perform.

  • Faith hosts and performs the 11th annual event, with performances from Mary J. Blige, Michael Franti, Reba McEntire, Shakira and Carrie Underwood. With contributions from Jenna Elfman and Nia Vardolos. Stories featured this year include the Farmarkis family, the Hostier family, Michael Franti's story and the story of the Children Waiting association.

  • Faith Hill hosts. Tonights show will feature stars from across America, including Jamie Foxx, Tim McGraw, Melissa Etheridge and Gavin Rossdale.

  • Following the success of the past eight annual shows, this year's special continues to tell touching stories about foster care adoption to raise awareness of this important social issue. Sheryl Crow hosts musical performances, (including James Blunt, Fergie, Karmina, Carole King, John Legend and Reba McEntire) which frame several pre-taped story segments which are presented by celebrities who either have their own adoption experiences or are involved with children's issues, including David Krumholtz, George Lopez and Rene Russo. These stories highlight many exceptional American children and families involved in this rewarding process.

  • Rod Stewart presents and performs. As Virginia Madsen, Cedric the Entertainer, Miley Cyrus, Angie Harmon, Melina Kanakaredes, Rene Russo and Jeri Ryan, present stories of American children and families involved in the rewarding process of Adoption and foster care. Throughout the show their are also performances from Five for Fighting, John Legend, Katharine McPhee and Mary Mary.

  • This year, the 7th Annual A Home for the Holidays will be presented by The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children's Action Network with Jamie Lee Curtis and Sheryl Crow (Who also performs a song).Special musical performances by Grammy Award-winning musical artists Yolanda Adams, Mary J. Blige, The Goo Goo Dolls and Kelly Rowland and Jesse McCartney will perform.

  • The first Annual A Home for the Holidays will be presented by The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and the Children's Action Network.
