Ep 7. Color-Blind

Sydney Bristow (Jennifer Garner), a graduate student by day and a spy for the CIA's black ops division by night, is thrust into another dangerous mission in Alias season 1 episode 7. Meanwhile, back at the CIA, Jack is dealing with some personal issues of his own. His wife has mysteriously returned from the dead after being presumed dead for over 20 years, and he is torn between his obligation to keep his cover intact and his desire to reconnect with her. He confides in his colleague and friend, Agent Marshall Flinkman (Kevin Weisman), who tries to help him come to terms with his complicated emotions.

As Sydney continues to gain the cartel's trust, she becomes deeper and deeper entangled in their dangerous world. She is tasked with proving her loyalty by carrying out a secret mission for Sloane, which involves transporting something valuable across the border. Sydney manages to complete the mission successfully, but not without attracting some unwanted attention from the FBI, who are on the lookout for the same item.

As the episode comes to a close, Sydney returns to the cartel's compound and finally meets Capacitor, the agent she was sent to retrieve.
