Ep 1. The Filth

Ben 10 2016 Season 1 Episode 1 "The Filth" begins as 10-year-old Ben Tennyson and his family, consisting of his cousin Gwen and grandpa Max, are on their way to the Grand Canyon National Park. Ben is excited to explore the park, but Gwen is more interested in reading her book. Along the way, they encounter a strange creature that looks like a gooey ball, which they soon realize is causing harm to innocent animals.

As Ben, Gwen, and Max investigate the creature, Ben discovers a device called the Omnitrix. The Omnitrix is a powerful watch-like device that gives Ben the ability to transform into 10 different powerful alien species, each with their unique abilities and strengths. As a result of a battle with the creature, Ben accidentally activates the Omnitrix and transforms into a new alien species, which he later finds out is named "Upgrade."

With the help of Upgrade, Ben is able to fight off the strange gooey creature, but it escapes. Ben and his family begin to investigate and realize that the creature is an alien species that was brought to Earth by a mad scientist named Dr. Animo. The creature is made up of a toxic substance, which is why it was harming the animals. With the help of Upgrade, Ben and his family are able to track down Dr. Animo and put a stop to his evil plans of turning Earth into a polluted wasteland.

Overall, "The Filth" serves as a great introduction to the world of Ben 10. The episode does an excellent job of setting up the characters and the plot, while also introducing viewers to the Omnitrix and some of the alien species that Ben will be able to transform into. The animation is excellent, and the action sequences are well-done, making "The Filth" an enjoyable watch for both kids and adults alike.
