As Ben and Ben 10K battle against Vilgax's minions, they discover that the only way to stop him is to unite the two halves of his body. Ben 10K sacrifices his own Omnitrix to merge Vilgax's halves back together and restore order to both universes.

Throughout the episode, Ben learns the importance of trust and teamwork. He also learns the power of sacrifice and that sometimes, to do what is right, one has to make difficult choices.
