Ep 13. Updating A Classic

The Mustang's original owner wants to keep the car's classic style but update the performance and technology for a more enjoyable driving experience.

One of the biggest challenges the team faces is finding a way to update the Mustang's suspension and brakes without sacrificing its classic look. They decide to use a custom-made front suspension and rear four-link setup to improve the car's handling while keeping the classic look intact. For the engine, the team decides to go with a modern fuel-injected setup that will provide more power and better reliability. They install a brand new Ford Performance Coyote engine and back it up with a smooth-shifting six-speed manual transmission.

To update the interior of the car, the team completely reupholsters the seats with a modern two-tone leather design and installs a new sound system with Bluetooth connectivity.
