Ichigo and his friends have found themselves in the middle of a dangerous conspiracy involving a group of soulless beings known as the Bounts. Ichigo is hesitant to trust her, but eventually agrees to help her escape from Mabashi.

The two groups finally meet in the climax of the episode, as Ichigo and Mabashi engage in an intense battle while Yoshino fights off the other Bounts. Ichigo is able to use his Bankai to defeat Mabashi, but not before Mabashi reveals that there is a powerful Bount leader who is planning to attack the Soul Society. Ichigo and his friends realize that they must stop this leader before it’s too late.
