Cheyenne is a classic western television series, and in season 4, episode 11, titled "Outcast of Cripple Creek," the audience gets to experience the wild west once again. Set in the late 1800s, the show revolves around Cheyenne Bodie (played by Clint Walker), a former army scout turned cowboy who roams the west encountering danger, romance, and adventure.

In this particular episode, Cheyenne is passing through the town of Cripple Creek when he happens upon a group of miners who are about to lynch a young man named Johnny Maitland (played by Nick Adams). Johnny is accused of stealing gold from a mine and killing a man in the process. Cheyenne steps in and saves him from being hanged, despite the fact that the evidence against Johnny is overwhelming.

Cheyenne is convinced of Johnny's innocence, but he can't prove it. As they ride out of town, they encounter a group of men who are looking for Johnny. Cheyenne realizes that the men are not lawmen but rather hired guns who have been paid to kill Johnny. Despite being badly outnumbered, Cheyenne manages to outsmart and defeat the men, allowing him and Johnny to escape.

The pair take refuge in an abandoned cabin where Cheyenne questions Johnny about his story. Johnny claims that he is innocent and that he has been framed by a powerful mining boss named Fenton (played by Edd Byrnes) who wanted to get his hands on a valuable gold mine. Cheyenne decides to help Johnny clear his name, and together they set out to find evidence that will prove his innocence.

Their journey takes them through some of the most dangerous parts of the wild west. They are hunted by Fenton's men, and they encounter a tribe of hostile Indians who attack them on sight. Cheyenne and Johnny narrowly escape both attacks, and they eventually make their way to the mine where the robbery took place.

There, they find evidence that Fenton was indeed behind the robbery and the murder. Cheyenne plans to take the evidence back to Cripple Creek and clear Johnny's name, but Fenton's men are waiting for them. In an intense showdown, Cheyenne and Johnny fight for their lives as they try to get the evidence to safety.

The episode ends with a climactic showdown in which Cheyenne and Johnny face off against Fenton and his men. In the end, justice is served, and Johnny is cleared of all charges. Cheyenne rides off into the sunset, leaving behind a grateful Johnny and a town that has learned the importance of standing up for what is right.

Overall, "Outcast of Cripple Creek" is an action-packed episode that showcases the best of what Cheyenne has to offer. The episode is filled with thrilling action sequences, heartfelt moments, and a powerful message about the importance of justice and doing what is right. It's a must-watch for fans of classic westerns and anyone who loves a good adventure.
