Come Dine With Me Season 26 Episode 50 Edinburgh - All in One

Come Dine With Me is a popular British television series which follows amateur food enthusiasts as they attempt to host the perfect dinner party in order to win the coveted prize of £1,000. In season 26 episode 50, titled Edinburgh - All in One, viewers are transported to the beautiful and historic city of Edinburgh, where four contestants will battle it out over a week of dinner parties, each in the hopes of being crowned the ultimate dinner host.

The first host is 53-year-old teacher Carol, who is hoping to impress her guests with her Scottish-inspired menu. As her guests arrive, Carol welcomes them with a traditional Scottish piper who plays as they make their way inside. Carol's starter is a twist on Cullen skink, a classic Scottish soup made with smoked haddock, and she follows this up with a main course of succulent meaty lamb shanks with a root vegetable mash and seasonal greens. For dessert, Carol serves a homemade cranachan - a traditional Scottish dessert made with whipped cream, toasted oats, and raspberries.

The second host is 36-year-old stay-at-home mom, Sarah, who has gone all out to create a Scottish castle theme for her dinner party. Guests are greeted with tartan-clad waiters and a fire juggler as they enter her home. Sarah's menu includes a delicious starter of scallops with a black pudding crumb, followed by a stunning main course of perfectly cooked fillet of Scottish salmon with a celeriac puree and beurre blanc sauce. For dessert, Sarah serves up a light and fluffy strawberry shortcake.

Next up is 31-year-old digital creative, Ali, who is looking to create a Japanese-inspired dinner party. As guests arrive, Ali welcomes them with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony before serving up his menu. For starters, Ali offers up a sashimi platter with soy and wasabi, followed by a perfectly cooked salmon teriyaki with sticky rice and a medley of steamed vegetables. For dessert, Ali serves homemade matcha ice cream with a tart raspberry coulis.

The final host is 54-year-old finance expert, Andy, who has decided to serve up a menu of classic British dishes with a twist. As guests arrive, Andy greets them with a refreshing glass of gin and tonic before serving up his menu. For starters, Andy serves a delicious pigeon breast with black pudding, followed by his main course of roasted beef fillet with creamy mashed potatoes and a decadent red wine jus. For dessert, Andy has created a mouth-watering treacle tart with homemade clotted cream.

Throughout the week, tensions are high and there are plenty of ups and downs as each of the contestants tries to outdo the others with their culinary prowess. Viewers will be left on the edge of their seats as they wait to see who will be crowned the ultimate dinner party host, and walk away with the coveted prize of £1,000.
