Ep 2. Denial

Conner Wallace, the former fiance of Hayes Morrison, is in trouble with the law again. This time he's facing a life sentence for brutally bludgeoning his girlfriend to death. Despite the evidence against him, Wallace insists that he's innocent and Hayes is determined to prove it.

Working on the case with her team at the Conviction Integrity Unit, Hayes discovers a number of inconsistencies in the prosecution's case against Wallace. She also begins to uncover information that suggests the victim may have been involved in criminal activity herself.

As Hayes and her team dig deeper, they discover a tangled web of lies and deceit that surrounds the victim's murder. And the closer they get to the truth, the more dangerous the situation becomes.

Meanwhile, Hayes struggles to deal with her feelings for Wallace as well as the impact their relationship is having on her job. She's also forced to confront her own demons as she deals with the fallout of her own scandal.

As the clock ticks down to Wallace's trial, Hayes and her team race against time to uncover the truth about the murder and exonerate an innocent man.
