Having such impeccable skills, she was assigned as a low status police woman, and given the job of investigating upper class women. One of Damo's investigations was that of a counterfeit money operation scheme. During her investigation, she discovered a rebel group protesting against a social class that they believe to be highly unfair and highly unjust. This rebel group was lead by a man named Jang Sung Baek. Jang Sung Baek, also has unbeatable sword fighting skills, like Damo's. Upon further investigation of this rebel group, Damo begins to develop romantic feelings for Jang Sung Baek. In return, Jang Sung Baek, also begins to develop feelings for Damo. Now, they both have to battle with them selves over what they need to do. Damo trying to fight her feelings and arrest Jang Sung Baek, and Jang Sung Baek trying to conceal his feelings and stand by what he believes.
