That evening, Shido heads to the nearest shopping district, where the white spirit is currently causing damage. When he arrives, he finds that the spirit is actually a girl in a white dress, who introduces herself as Tohka.
Shido soon realizes that Tohka does not understand the human world and is causing damage unintentionally. He decides to try and communicate with her and ask her to stop.
As Shido spends more time with Tohka, he starts to understand her better and realizes that she is not a threat to the human world. However, the Anti-Spirit Team, a group dedicated to eliminating the spirits, arrives to eliminate Tohka.
Shido saves Tohka from the Anti-Spirit Team by taking her to a secret lab where he learns that the spirits have the power to materialize"Quintet" from their emotions and can control them with their minds. Shido must now find a way to make Tohka fall in love with him and seal her powers before she causes another spatial quake.
Overall, "Date A Live" season 1 episode 1 is a thrilling introduction to the series, setting up the paranormal world and the central relationship between Shido and Tohka. The episode features explosive action sequences, compelling characters, and intriguing world-building. It's a promising start to the series, promising plenty of twists, turns, and romance to come.
