Ep 3. A Weekend in the Country

In Desperate Housewives season 3 episode 3, titled "A Weekend in the Country," the ladies of Wisteria Lane take a break from their usual routines and head to a luxurious spa resort for a weekend vacation. However, what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway quickly turns into a weekend of drama and conflicts.

Bree is initially excited about the trip, as it gives her the opportunity to make new friends. She bonds with Phyllis, a wealthy and sophisticated woman who seems to have everything together. However, their newfound friendship is tested when Bree discovers a shocking secret about Phyllis's husband.

Gabrielle, on the other hand, is not thrilled about the trip. She's struggling with the fact that Carlos has lost his job and is worried about their financial situation. To make matters worse, she gets into a heated argument with Carlos at the resort, causing a major scene.

Lynette and Tom use the trip as a chance to reconnect and work on their marriage. However, their plans are derailed when Lynette's overbearing mother unexpectedly shows up at the resort and starts interfering in their relationship.

Lastly, Susan and Edie continue their ongoing feud, which reaches a boiling point when they both compete for the attention of the resort's eligible bachelor, who happens to be the father of a young girl from Susan's son's school.

As tensions rise and secrets are revealed, the weekend getaway proves to be anything but relaxing for the housewives of Wisteria Lane.
