In this episode of Dog Whisperer, host Cesar Millan takes on the challenges of three different dogs: Owen, Jerry, and Rocky.

First up is Owen, a Jack Russell Terrier with severe separation anxiety. His owners, Chris and Mary, work from home and are always with Owen, but when they leave to run errands or go out for the evening, Owen becomes anxious and destructive. Millan works with Owen to teach him to feel more comfortable when alone by gradually increasing the length of time he is left alone and teaching him coping mechanisms to deal with his anxiety. However, Millan also discovers that some of Owen's fears stem from an underlying medical issue, one that needs to be addressed before he can fully overcome his anxiety.

Next, Millan turns his attention to Jerry, an excitable Dalmatian who jumps on everyone he meets. Jerry's owners are at their wits' end because not only is Jerry a nuisance, but he's also putting himself in danger by jumping on strangers. Millan works with Jerry to teach him impulse control and to respond to his owner's cues for when and how to greet people. He also helps Jerry's owners assert their dominance over him without resorting to punishment or aggression.

Finally, Millan meets Rocky, a Rottweiler with a history of aggression towards other dogs. Rocky's owners, Tim and Stacy, are frustrated because they can't take Rocky to the dog park without him lunging and growling at other dogs. Millan works with Rocky to build up his socialization skills, teaching him to interact with other dogs in a controlled, safe environment. He also helps Tim and Stacy understand the importance of leadership and consistency in preventing Rocky's aggressive behavior.

Through his work with Owen, Jerry, and Rocky, Millan highlights the importance of understanding a dog's needs and behavior in order to provide effective training and care. He emphasizes the importance of positive reinforcement and patience in working with dogs, and shows how a little bit of understanding and attention can go a long way in improving a dog's life and behavior. By the end of the episode, each of the dogs has made progress towards their training goals, and their owners have learned important lessons in how to be better pet parents.
