Durarara!!x2 Season 1 Episode 2 Harmony Is the Greatest of Virtues

At the start of Durarara!!x2 season 1 episode 2, titled "Harmony Is the Greatest of Virtues," Mikado Ryuugamine is still settling into life in Ikebukuro. After school, he meets up with his friend Kida Masaomi and they catch up on old times. While they're chatting, Mikado mentions that he's heard of the urban legend known as the "Black Rider," a headless motorcyclist who is said to be haunting the streets of Ikebukuro at night. Kida is skeptical but intrigued, and suggests they go check it out together.

Meanwhile, Celty Sturluson, the Black Rider herself, is on a mission to retrieve her stolen head. With the help of her friend Shinra Kishitani, she tracks down the thief and confronts him. However, the thief reveals that he's already sold the head to someone else, and Celty is forced to continue her search elsewhere.

Elsewhere in Ikebukuro, we meet some of the other colorful characters who inhabit the city. Izaya Orihara, a cunning and manipulative information broker, is seen chatting with various acquaintances on the phone. We also see a group of delinquents led by a young man named Shizuo Heiwajima, who has a reputation for having superhuman strength and a short fuse. Finally, we're introduced to a mysterious new character named Varona, who seems to be involved in some kind of dangerous business.

As the episode goes on, Mikado and Kida continue their investigation into the Black Rider, and eventually they catch a glimpse of her in action. However, their excitement is short-lived when they encounter some of Shizuo's thugs and things quickly turn violent. Mikado and Kida are able to escape unscathed, but they realize that they might have stumbled into something much bigger than they ever anticipated.

Overall, "Harmony Is the Greatest of Virtues" is a fast-paced and action-packed episode that does a great job of introducing the audience to many of the key players in the world of Durarara!!x2. From the quirky and enigmatic Celty to the hot-headed Shizuo and the conniving Izaya, there's never a dull moment in Ikebukuro. Additionally, the episode sets up several intriguing mysteries and plot threads, leaving viewers eager to see what's in store for these fascinating characters in the episodes to come.
