Ep 7. Read All About Ed

In season 1 episode 7 of Ed, Edd n' Eddy titled "Read All About Ed," the Eds set up a lemonade stand to make some extra cash. However, when they fail to attract any customers, Edd comes up with the idea to create a scam newspaper where they can write fake news stories and sell them for a profit.

The plan seems to be working as they start selling copies of their newspaper to the other kids in the cul-de-sac. However, when Jonny 2x4 reads one of their articles, he believes it to be true and starts a campaign to save the cul-de-sac from an imaginary danger.

The Eds initially enjoy the attention and money they're making off the scam but soon realize the consequences of their actions when the other kids in the cul-de-sac become angry and turn against them. Edd, feeling guilty, decides to confess to their scam and return the money they made.

In the end, the kids forgive the Eds, but they're left with a valuable lesson about honesty and the consequences of their actions.
