F Troop season 1 episode 15, titled "Here Comes the Tribe," is an American comedy series that follows the escapades of the members of F Troop at Fort Courage, Kansas, during the late 1800s. The episode starts with Sergeant O'Rourke (played by Forrest Tucker) and Corporal Agarn (played by Larry Storch) trying to sell blankets to the tribe of Hekawis, who are known for their fierce demeanor and hostility towards the army.

As the soldiers show off their wares, Captain Parmenter (played by Ken Berry) arrives and reminds them that trading with Native Americans is against the law. However, the Hekawis are not interested in blankets and ask for food instead. This request presents a problem for the soldiers, as they have already consumed all the army's provisions.

Meanwhile, Sergeant Garcia (played by Frank DeKova) receives a letter from his sister, who is due to visit him soon. Excited about the prospect of seeing his sibling, Garcia becomes preoccupied with making preparations for her arrival. He enlists the help of Private Dobbs (played by James Hampton) to fix up his quarters, but Dobbs accidentally bungles the job and sets the room on fire.

As chaos unfolds at Fort Courage, the Hekawis launch an attack on the army. The soldiers are forced to retreat into the fort as the tribe surrounds them. The situation looks dire until Captain Parmenter comes up with a plan to create a human shield by disguising the soldiers as members of the tribe. The Hekawis are tricked into thinking that the army soldiers are long-lost members of their tribe, and the soldiers are able to escape without further violence.

In the end, Sergeant Garcia's sister arrives, but she is unimpressed by the chaos she finds at Fort Courage. Meanwhile, the soldiers have managed to restock their provisions after receiving a new shipment from the nearby town of Medicine Bow.

"Here Comes the Tribe" is a classic episode of F Troop that showcases the show's wit, humor, and satire. The episode's underlying message about cultural misunderstandings and the importance of communication is still relevant today and adds depth to the overall lightheartedness of the episode. With a mix of physical comedy and sharp one-liners, "Here Comes the Tribe" will appeal to fans of classic sitcoms and those looking for a good laugh.
