It's now up to Gao and his friends to retrieve Ken's deck and stop the illegal tournament. As they attempt to rescue Ken's stolen cards, they get caught up in the tournament themselves. They are forced to fight against skilled opponents in an attempt to win the rare dragon card, which is the only way to win Ken's deck back.
Gao, Baku, and Kuguru utilize their unique Buddy cards to battle against their opponents, each of whom has their own quirky card decks. Gao's fighting spirit, along with his dragon card deck, helps him to gain the upper hand against the opponents. However, his opponents don't make it easy and give him a hard time. Fortunately, with Baku and Kuguru's help, Gao is able to outsmart his competitors and win the coveted rare dragon card.
With the rare dragon card now in their possession, Gao and his friends finally retrieve Ken's stolen deck and return it to him. Ken, who is eternally grateful for their help, thanks Gao and his friends. The episode ends with a happy note of turning a negative situation into a positive one, all while promoting teamwork and the importance of friendship.
