Alexis tries to lure Helena unsuccessfully up onto the parapet. After Laura shows up at the engagement party, Katherine locks her in the guest house. Laura manages to escape and begs Stefan not to reveal the truth to Nikolas. Stefan tries to convince Katherine that she is the woman he wants to be with and she realizes that Nikolas is his son. Hearing what Katherine has said Laura reveals herself and Katherine falls from the parapet. Stefan makes Laura leave before anybody knows she was there.
