As Sonny goes to Martha's Vineyard, he remembers being there as a child. When he arrives he is confronted by Ric, who tells him that his family owns the house. Sonny remembers that Ric's father was Adela's boss and also remembers being responsible for his mother falling down some stairs. Sonny is shocked when Ric tells him that he is his brother. Courtney falls and knocks herself out while trying to free herself from the mine. Jason works out where Courtney is and finds her as the mind begins to cave in. After Skye calls Carly to let her know that Michael is at the Quartermaines, Carly shows up but trips on the stairs. Emily tells her mother that she is going to set Zander free instead of asking him to go through the cancer ordeal with her. After arriving in Mirabella, Luke meets a woman called Sonia who recognizes Matthew's picture even though she denies knowing him. Summer already knows Sonia but doesn’t tell the others.
