Ep 5. Dead and Breakfast

In this episode of Ghost Loop season 1, the team heads to Palatine, Illinois to investigate a bed and breakfast that is said to be haunted by the spirits of former residents. The team consists of paranormal investigator Chris Smith, medium Sarah Lemos, researcher Katie Burr and tech expert Richel Stratton.

As they arrive at the bed and breakfast, they meet with the owners who detail the various experiences they have had with paranormal activity, including doors slamming shut and apparitions appearing and disappearing. The team sets up their equipment and begins their investigation.

One of the first things they discover is a spirit who is angry and aggressive towards the living. Sarah senses that this spirit is a former resident who may have died in the house and is now stuck there, unwilling to move on to the other side. As they continue to investigate, they uncover more spirits, including one who seems to be a former owner and another who seems to be a young girl.

One of the techniques the team uses in their investigation is the "ghost loop" where they take a particular spirit's story and recreate it in order to help them move on. They use this technique with the aggressive spirit they first encountered and seemingly have success in getting the spirit to let go of its anger and move towards the light.

However, as they continue their investigation, they discover that the malevolent energy in the house is stronger than they initially realized. They begin to feel physically ill and drained, leading Chris to speculate that there may be an object in the house that is causing the negative energy.

As they search for the object, they discover a doll that seems to be unfinished and possibly cursed. They remove the doll from the house and burn it, hoping that this will help to alleviate the negative energy.

Towards the end of the episode, the team does a final walk-through of the house and performs a cleansing ritual, hoping to remove any remaining negative energy from the property. They also advise the owners to continue to perform their own cleansings and to call them back if they experience any further paranormal activity.
