Ep 6. Rule No 33: When in Doubt, Run Away

When Abby's husband Jake starts getting closer to Becca, Abby starts to panic. Becca is Jake's ex-girlfriend who Abby knows Jake still harbors feelings for. Abby confides in her friends, who all advise her to talk to Jake about it. But Abby, feeling insecure and unsure of her own feelings, opts to run away instead. She books a trip to New York City, hoping to clear her head and gain some perspective. While in New York, Abby ends up meeting up with an old flame, which further complicates things for her. Meanwhile, back in Los Angeles, Jo has a big decision to make regarding her relationship with Scott, while Phoebe struggles to maintain a positive relationship with her estranged husband. Ultimately, Abby realizes that she needs to confront her issues head-on and return home to face the situation with Jake and Becca.
