Ep 8. Rule No. 17: Ask the Answer Lady

In the eighth episode of Season 1 of Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, titled "Rule No. 17: Ask the Answer Lady," Abby McCarthy is in need of some advice. Meanwhile, back in L.A., Jo is struggling with a new realization about her relationship with Scott. Phoebe confronts Ralf, her potential new love interest, over some strange behavior. And Delia adjusts to having a new boss after her firm is bought out.

As Abby starts to take Courtney's advice to heart, she realizes that she has been too consumed with the drama of her own divorce and not focused enough on her children. She decides to shift her focus and starts to polish her parenting skills. At Lilly's birthday party, Jake and Abby have a heart-to-heart that leads to some unexpected revelations. The party ends up being a huge success, but the night takes a dark turn when Abby's ex-husband, Will, shows up unexpectedly.
