Ryan King is a sports talk radio host who is coping with the loss of his wife by attending mandatory group therapy sessions. This week, the group is gathering to celebrate the birthday of one of their members, Sonia. Ryan is tasked with organizing a surprise birthday party for her, but instead of keeping it low-key, he decides to go all out and rent out a popular bowling alley.

As the group begins to arrive, it quickly becomes clear that not everyone is on board with Ryan's grand plans.
