Gyebaek is a South Korean historical television drama series that shows the mid-7th century chronicles of an ancient warrior General Gyebaek played by Lee Seo-jin . The show reveals the everyday journey of battles the warrior faces as he and his army of soldiers go on throughout Baekje. The story also tells of the king of Baekje, King Moo(Choi Jong-Hwan) and his first wife, Queen Sun-Hwa(Shin Eun-Jung) and his first son, Prince Ui-Ja who was played by No Young-Hak until he became king and is later played by Cho Jae-Hyun. The story tells of how King Moo struggles to protect them from being assassinated. In one episode King Moo's second wife, Sa Taek Bi sets a plan into motion to kill Queen Sun-Hwa and Prince Ui-Ja, so that her son, Kyo-Ki can ascend the throne upon the King's death. Viewers experience the intensity of this battle as Queen Sun-Hwa fights to defend her freedom and the life of her son.

Description
