Haunted Case Files is a supernatural documentary series that explores real-life stories of paranormal activity and investigates the mysterious occurrences. In season 2, episode 3, we see investigator Robin Strom dealing with a gruesome haunting in a small town, in British Columbia, Canada.
The episode starts with Robin explaining how she first heard about the haunting of a house in a small town, and how she was immediately drawn to the case. Robin joins the family, who had been living in the house for over two years. They recount their experiences with the haunting, which involves their youngest daughter seeing apparitions and shadows. The family narrates how they have heard footsteps, doors slamming and seen objects moving on their own. They share their fear with the team and talk about their apprehensions even while being present inside their own house.
Robin and her team are quick to set up their equipment and investigate the house to find out what exactly is causing the paranormal activity. The team members have years of experience, and they are all a bit nervous about what they might find. They start their investigation with a walkthrough of the house to understand the layout and observe any possible triggers of the haunting. Robin accesses each room with a keen eye and takes note of any signs of the paranormal activity.
Robin then sets up her infrared cameras and triggers a device that records any sound or voice. The team is focused on capturing any evidence, and they do so successfully. Their cameras capture shadow figures moving around in different parts of the house, and they also record footsteps, whispers, knocking and strange noises that are not audible to the human ear.
One of the most eerie moments of this episode is when they caught an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) through their device that records sound. They hear a voice with a distinct accent that says, "I'm trapped here." The team is shocked to hear the voice, and they all agree that it is evidence that the house is indeed haunted.
Throughout the investigation, Robin and her team uncover several interesting findings. They notice an energy anomaly, which is a visible burst of energy that is captured through the camera lens. Another intriguing aspect of their investigation is when they notice that the activity is more intense in the same room where the haunting reportedly started. This is a sign that there is a possibility of the activity being generated from that particular location.
The team decides to do a more in-depth investigation in this room to try and uncover the source of the haunting. They set up their equipment and wait patiently for any activity. Suddenly, they hear a loud banging noise from the closet, which terrifies everyone in the room. They rush to the closet only to find that nothing had fallen. This incident proves to be one of the scariest moments of the episode.
The team also uses a geo-port device, which helps them to communicate with the spirits. They ask questions related to the identity of the spirit, the reason for the haunting, and how they could help release it. The answers they get are unique, and they bring a whole new perspective to the haunting.
As the investigation progresses, Robin and her team are faced with unexplainable phenomena, and they uncover several pieces of evidence that suggest the house is indeed haunted. The evidence collected is irrefutable proof that something paranormal is happening inside the house, and this episode leaves the viewer wanting to know more.
Overall, the episode is spooky, intriguing, and well-made, and it is a must-watch for anyone who is interested in the paranormal.
