Ep 6. Better Halves

Better Halves is the sixth episode of Heroes season 1. In this episode, the audience gets a closer look at the relationships between some of the main characters. The episode opens with Claire and her father as they discuss the recent events that have exposed Claire's abilities. Claire's father is concerned for her safety and wants to move her to a new school. However, Claire is hesitant to leave her friends behind.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Petrelli is seen meeting with her husband's campaign manager, Nathan. Mrs. Petrelli wants to know if her husband is the "special" person that they have been searching for. Nathan doesn't give her an answer and tells her to trust him.

In another part of the city, Niki is seen coming back to her house, and she is paranoid and thinks that someone is following her. Her suspicions are confirmed when she finds her house in complete disarray. Niki believes that her husband, D.L., is responsible, and she confronts him about it. However, D.L. vehemently denies any involvement.

Back at the diner, Mohinder wakes up from a nightmare and finds that his father's research is missing. Mohinder is also feeling a connection with his father's work and believes that he may be "special" as well.

Hiro and Ando, the Japanese duo, are back in Tokyo and have a few comical moments as they decide to make themselves some sushi. However, things take a serious turn when Hiro suddenly teleports himself and Ando to New York.

Meanwhile, Matt and his wife are having problems in their relationship. Matt wants to try and work things out, but his wife doesn't think they can fix their issues. The two start to argue, leading Matt to use his ability to read her thoughts.

The episode ends with a few characters meeting for the first time. Hiro and Ando finally meet Nathan Petrelli and Mohinder. Hiro tells them that he has traveled back in time to save the world, and Mohinder realizes that Hiro's father's research was onto something big.

Overall, Better Halves is an exciting episode that shows the different sides of the characters and how they are all connected. It also sets up some interesting plot points for the rest of the season.
