The show High Kick season 1 episode 18, entitled "High Kick 18," continues to follow the daily lives of the Lee family and their acquaintances. In this episode, Seung-yeon, the youngest sister, is excited to have finally been assigned a locker at school, but her joy is short-lived when she realizes that it is right next to a notorious troublemaker, Jong-seok. Meanwhile, Jung-hoon, the eldest brother, is experiencing some difficulties at work. His boss, Mr. Yoo, thinks that Jung-hoon is spending too much time on his personal life and not enough on his job, so he assigns him extra hours. However, Jung-hoon is struggling to complete his tasks as he is constantly interrupted by his coworkers, who ask for his help with their own work.

Elsewhere, Hae-mi, the middle sister, has her own problems to deal with. She has a crush on her coworker, Chan-sung, but she is too nervous to approach him. However, her friends encourage her to take some initiative, and she decides to invite Chan-sung to go hiking with her on the weekend.

The Lee family patriarch, Jun-ha, is also facing some challenges. His wife, Hae-ri, keeps nagging him about their financial situation and how they need to cut back on expenses. Jun-ha, however, is itching to buy a new stereo system, and he sneaks off to the electronics store to check out the latest models.

Throughout the episode, the family members encounter various obstacles, but they also find ways to support and encourage each other. Se-kyung, the college student who lives with the Lees, tries to help Seung-yeon deal with Jong-seok, while Jung-hoon's coworker, Hyun-kyung, offers to lend him a hand with his workload. Hae-mi's friends provide her with moral support as she prepares to ask Chan-sung out, and Jun-ha's eldest sister, Soon-ja, offers him some much-needed financial advice.

As always, the episode is full of humor and heart. The characters' quirks and idiosyncrasies are endearing, and their genuine affection for each other is touching. Through their trials and triumphs, the Lees show that they are a loving and resilient family, capable of overcoming any obstacle that comes their way.
