- February 6, 2017
Mrs. Peters is back in court ready to redeem herself for the property damage done to her former lover's car. She is joined by the Plaintiff, Jack, who claims that she threw a cinder block through his window in a fit of rage. The defendant says their relationship was full of romance and excitement, but because of Jack's rough demeanor, the passion turned violent. The judge can't help but ask how old the defendant is and how much older she is than the victim. Jack is much younger than Peters which raises the question of whether he was in love or attracted to her money.
The second case of the day is about William, who is suing his former friend, Roberto, over a breach of contract. William says that he paid Roberto to convert his truck into a camper but when it was completed, the work did not meet his expectations. Roberto explains that he and William had agreed to complete the job in two weeks, but William's continuous change of plans resulted in the project being delayed, with the final product being completed in four months. The judge's find the case to be a battle of egos and suggest that the parties should have a friendly chat to resolve their issues.
Finally, the third case introduces Harrison, who is suing his former flame, Taylor, for the return of his classic gun. Harrison claims that he gave the gun to Taylor as a sign of love but now that they have broken up, he wants it back. Taylor says that she had always intended to return the gun but was waiting for Harrison to calm down first. The judges dig deeper into the case by questioning the emotional ties between the two. The defendant claims that the plaintiff had previously gifted her with low-quality firearms she had no use for and since the gun was not expensive, she did not see it as a valuable item.
