Ep 8. The Play's the Thing

Elka's friend, a playwright named Maxine, comes to town for a playwriting class. The ladies offer to read her latest play and provide feedback, but it quickly becomes apparent that the play is terrible. However, they don't want to hurt Maxine's feelings, so they conspire to put on the play themselves and pass off bad reviews as the work of a notorious critic. Meanwhile, Victoria is dealing with a personal crisis when her ex-husband comes to visit and Joy finds herself attracted to a man who seems to be the perfect match, until she discovers his secret. The ladies must navigate their various challenges while putting on the play and keeping up appearances for Maxine.
