Then one day, the cute and behaloed Noelle fell, quite literally, into his life, naked as a baby and every bit as innocent. Before he can even fathom what's just happened, Yuusuke is inducted into a rather odd family of otherworldly beings straight out of The Munsters. Papa is a Frankenstein monster with a taste for calisthenics. Mama is a gorgeous lady with a penchant for "round objects" -- really! The eldest sister, Sara, is literally invisible; the brother, Gabriel, is a teenage vampire with an attitude problem; and the youngest sister, Ruka, loves inventing things. There's a disapproving Grandma, who's a witch to the nth degree, and her vulture familiar. All Yuusuke wanted was for the beautiful Natsumi to even notice his attention, but now he has an angel-in-training to follow him wherever he goes. And Noelle, too, has a guide on her path to being an angel.

13. Step 13: Round Ôn Round and Back at the Start

Fed up with Miruru's string of failures, Dispel comes to the human world himself! He tries to lure Noelle to him by promising to make her an angel.

12. Step 12: To Like Is to Be Liked?

Natsumi has turned into a little girl. She is living with Yuusuke and Noelle until Yuusuke can figure out how to turn her back to normal.

11. Step 11: It's Suddenly Time to Say Goodbye

The Durian Comet passes Earth once every 8 years. This is that lucky year! If you put a Durian on your head, your wishes will come true.

10. Step 10: The Thing at the End of the Tunnel

Noelle goes to a festival with Yuusuke were he buys her a suspicious mechanical toy, Bun-bun.

9. Step 9: No Doesn't Always Mean No

Since Noelle and Yuusuke are living together, they might as well be married. Noelle's family get hyped up to advance the two's relationship.

8. Step 8: I Wanna See You, but It Hurts

Lucca comes up with a crazy invention: a robot that's controlled by wearing a suit. Wanting to try it out, the family fights over the control suit.

7. Step 7: A Bond That's Really Strong

Yuusuke receives a package at his house. Inside, they find a girl-squid claiming to be Noelle. The somewhat confused family takes the girl squid in.

6. Step 6: Wings of the Heart, Stuff Like That

Noelle gets carried away with her flying practices. Mikael hints that "To smile is what is important," but Noelle doesn't have a clue what it means.

5. Step 5: It Can't Be Seen, but It's There

Papa invites Yuusuke to go to the beach with the rest of the family. But Noelle's older sister, Sara, is nowhere to be seen.

In order to become Yuusuke's angel, Noelle tries to figure out love. On the way home from school, Noelle runs into Miruru.

Noelle asks everyone to help her become an angel. Granny takes advantage of the situation by telling Noelle that angels must not give into temptation.

2. Step 2: Patched Up Love Is Okay With Me!

Natsumi slaps Yuusuke because she thinks he was peeping into the girl's locker room. To fix the misunderstanding, Yuusuke tries writing a letter.
