Ep 8. Birthdazed

In the eighth episode of the first season of the Disney XD series, I'm In The Band, entitled "Birthdazed," the members of the Iron Weasel rock band are on a mission to throw a surprise birthday party for their manager, Derek Jupiter. But things don't go according to plan when Bobby, the band's lead singer, discovers that Derek's birthday isn't until the following month.

Feeling embarrassed and guilty for ruining the surprise, Bobby attempts to make it up to Derek by giving him the ultimate birthday present. He decides to track down Derek's favourite rock star, the reclusive Eddie Krueger, and convince him to make a surprise appearance at Derek's belated birthday party.

Meanwhile, Trip, the band's resident tech wizard, is struggling to come up with the perfect birthday present for Derek. After some failed attempts, Trip decides to create a hologram version of Derek's childhood hero and baseball player, Mickey Mantle. But when the hologram malfunctions and begins to glitch, the band must race against time to fix it before Derek's party.

As the party approaches, tensions rise when the band discover Derek's secret obsession with the fictional detective, Dexter Danger. To make matters worse, Derek's ex-girlfriend shows up to the party, causing chaos and putting a damper on the festivities.

Throughout the episode, the band learns the importance of true friendship and forgiveness, as they work together to make Derek's birthday a memorable one.
