Impossible Builds is a PBS series that takes viewers on a journey to explore some of the most unique and challenging architectural creations in the world. Hosted by actor Corey Johnson, the series features six episodes that each focus on a different project, from a cutting-edge underwater hotel to an awe-inspiring bridge that defies physics.

Throughout the series, viewers get an inside look at the incredible engineering and design that goes into each of these impossible builds. From the groundbreaking technology and materials used to the skilled workers who make it all possible, the show provides an in-depth exploration of what it takes to bring these ambitious projects to life.

The first episode, titled "The Scorpion Tower," takes us to the heart of Chongqing, China where construction is underway on an enormous skyscraper inspired by a scorpion's tail. The tower's unique design features two towers that spiral around each other and connect via a shared podium. As we watch the construction process unfold, we learn about the challenges that the team faces and the innovative solutions they come up with to overcome them.

In episode two, "The Floating House," viewers are transported to Vancouver, Canada to witness the construction of a stunning waterfront home that floats on a network of pontoons. With breathtaking views of the city and the natural beauty of the surrounding area, the floating house is a true marvel of modern architecture.

Episode three, "The Underwater Hotel," takes us to the tropical island nation of the Maldives, where a team of engineers and designers are building an incredible hotel that sits entirely underwater. With rooms that offer a 360-degree view of the surrounding ocean, this underwater hotel pushes the limits of what is possible and provides a unique and unforgettable experience for guests.

In episode four, "The Ultimate Roller Coaster," we travel to Orlando, Florida, where a team of engineers and designers are building a record-breaking roller coaster that reaches speeds of up to 150 miles per hour. As we watch the coaster take shape, we learn about the innovative technology that allows riders to experience zero gravity and feel weightless as they hurtle through the air.

Episode five, "The World's Tallest Residences," takes us to New York City, where we witness the construction of one of the most ambitious residential buildings in the world. Rising 1,500 feet into the sky, the building offers unparalleled views of the city and sets new records for height and luxury.

Finally, in episode six, "The Self-Driving Pod," we explore the future of transportation with a self-driving pod that is designed to revolutionize the way we travel. With cutting-edge technology and a sleek, futuristic design, this self-driving vehicle offers a glimpse into a world where commuting and travel are faster, safer, and more efficient than ever before.
