Jem wants to avoid his and his brother's sentence of been hung and so makes its his mission to discover the identity of the man who gives Joss his orders. Mary tries to convince her Aunt to escape from Joss.

Description

This three-part family drama miniseries is based on the Daphne du Maurier's novel of the same name. It revolves around a young woman who is sent to live on her aunt's estate after the death of her mother. There she finds family intrigue, as she discovers that the estate is a front for her uncle's shady business dealings. This adaptation of du Maurier's story aired on BBC One in 2014.
