Ep 6. Castle of Lies Phase. 2

Koko and her team are in a new location in "Castle of Lies Phase. 2," the sixth episode of Jormungand's second season. They're at a castle in Spain where a group of soldiers once found gold and hid it somewhere within the fortress. Now, the team is hired to retrieve that valuable treasure. They split up into three groups, with Jonah, Lutz, and Tojo on one, Mao and Wiley on another, and Koko and Valmet on the last one.

Meanwhile, Bougainvillea, the group of assassins after Koko, is also in Spain. They received a mission that involves killing Koko, and they've picked up on her location. After some investigation, they learn that she's at the castle, so they decide to go after her there.

The three groups from Koko's team encounter different problems in their search for the treasure. Jonah, Lutz, and Tojo are investigating underground, where the gold is believed to be hidden. They come across some tricky puzzles, but eventually find the treasure. However, they discover that the treasure is actually a decoy, and someone has already taken the real gold.

Mao and Wiley face their own challenges. They're checking the castle's library for clues and come across a suspicious woman. They follow her and end up in a trap. The woman was actually one of the Bougainvillea assassins and had lured them into a room rigged with explosives. Mao figures out the situation and manages to disarm the explosives just in time.

Koko and Valmet are searching the upper floors of the castle, and they encounter a girl named Karen. She's the one who gave Koko the job of finding the gold. However, Karen is also in on the Bougainvillea assassination mission. Koko picks up on this and confronts her. In the ensuing battle, Valmet is gravely injured. Karen flees, and Koko stays behind to tend to Valmet.

During all of this, Bougainvillea is making moves to get closer to Koko. They use a helicopter to try and infiltrate the castle, but Koko is ready for them. She has her own anti-air defenses, which take out the helicopter.

Near the end of the episode, Karen shows up again. She tells Koko that she didn't have any choice but to be part of the assassination mission. She begs Koko to take her with them and help her escape. Koko considers the request and eventually agrees.

"Castle of Lies Phase. 2" is an action-packed episode full of twists and turns. The treasure hunt plotline is a fun addition to the series and adds a new level of excitement to the episode. The Bougainvillea storyline also reaches a tipping point, as Koko and her team start to come face to face with their enemies. Overall, the episode is a solid addition to the Jormungand series and leaves fans eagerly anticipating the next episode.
