Kathy Griffin Comedy Specials Season 2 Episode 3 Episode 203

Kathy and Matt are buzzing around the house, getting packed for Iraq. First order of business for Kathy: making sure Matt packs enough Ambien and Dramamine for the 20-hour flight. They say goodbye to her parents -- mom is in tears and Kathy makes jokes about planning her funeral. They are off, but the limo ride to the airport is a bad sign of things to come. The driver gets pathetically lost picking up the rest of Kathy's comedy troupe -- Mike McDonald and Karri Turner. They arrive in Kuwait and do the first show. Kathy can't find her groove and asks an Army Captain if he will "command? the troops to laugh. But Mike has no problem -- he does his Stuart character from Mad TV and the crowd loves him. It's not fair. Kathy has been planning and worrying and tweaking her act and she falls flat, but Mike talks in the falsetto voice of a six year-old and kills.
