Ep 10. Cover Story Cakes

In Kids Baking Championship Season 4 Episode 10, titled "Cover Story Cakes," the remaining contestants are challenged to create cakes that tell a story. Each baker receives a literary genre and must incorporate it into their cake design. Some of the genres include romance, mystery, and adventure.

The contestants start off by brainstorming ideas and sketching out their cake designs. They then begin to gather their ingredients and start baking. Many of the bakers struggle with getting their cakes to rise properly or getting their fondant to cooperate.

As the competition heats up, tensions rise between some of the contestants. However, there are also moments of camaraderie as the bakers help each other out with tasks such as lifting heavy cake tiers.

The judges, Valerie Bertinelli and Duff Goldman, closely inspect each cake and ask the contestants to explain the story they are telling with their design. Some of the cakes impress the judges with their creativity and execution, while others fall short.

In the end, only one contestant is crowned the winner of the challenge, and sadly, one baker is sent home. The remaining competitors move on to the next round, one step closer to the grand prize of $25,000 and the title of Kids Baking Champion.
