Kimi ni Todoke - From Me To You Season 1 Episode 23 The Two of Them

The Two of Them is the twenty-third episode in the first season of Kimi ni Todoke - From Me To You anime series. The episode begins with Kazehaya and Sawako discussing Chizuru's love life. They both realize how happy Chizuru must be, with great friends like them and Ryu. Sawako agrees to be Chizuru's special adviser so that Chizuru can confess her feelings to Toru correctly.

Sawako then invites Ayane and Chizuru to her home where they can practice their confession. When they arrive, Sawako's parents welcome them with open arms and are happy to have them over. Ayane and Chizuru confess their problems to Sawako, who then tries to help them out. Sawako then goes to buy food for everyone and is surprised to see Kazehaya there. They both go shopping for groceries together and talk about their friends.

When they return, Sawako's father cooks dinner for everyone, and they have a great time. During dinner, Sawako's parents compliment her on the great friends she has and what a good person she is. Sawako then realizes that she has all the components of a family including warmth, kindness, and love.

After dinner, Sawako and Ayane go for a walk where they discuss how Sawako has grown much more than they initially thought she would. They both congratulate her on being able to confess her feelings to Kazehaya. Sawako then asks Ayane if she has any advice on how to confess, Ayane replies, "it's impossible to prepare for that moment."

The show then cuts to Kazehaya and Ryu discussing how Kazehaya and Sawako's relationship has changed. Kazehaya reveals that he feels a sense of distance between him and Sawako ever since she confessed to him. Ryu tells him that it's because Sawako has matured and that he should try to understand her feelings.

Meanwhile, Sawako and Chizuru spend some time in the park discussing how Sawako can convey her feelings to Kazehaya. While they're talking, they overhear Ayane speaking with an older woman about a boy she used to like.

Later that night, Sawako and Kazehaya bump into each other on their way home. Kazehaya then asks Sawako if he can walk her home. While walking, Kazehaya asks her if something is bothering her because she's been acting strange around him. Sawako apologizes and tries to explain herself, but Kazehaya assures her that he understands and then walks her to her front door.

The episode ends with Sawako thanking Kazehaya for walking her home and then telling him that she's grateful for being able to communicate with him. The two of them stand under the starry sky of the night, with a feeling of love and acceptance between them.
